Job Listing | Commander/Manager, Mobile Integrated Health Programs

EDUCATION: Post-secondary degree in a Health Services discipline; Post-secondary education in quality management; Complementary master’s degree preferred. KNOWLEDGE Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior management position supervising Quality Management/Assurance and/or Operations programs in Health or Emergency Services environments, with demonstrated leadership ability; Advanced knowledge of Emergency Medical Services operations and health care quality management best practices, legislative acts, and the regulations and bodies that guide Emergency Medical Services; Familiarity with research practices, and knowledge of and demonstrated use of evidence-informed decision-making processes; Knowledge of local community health care needs, knowledge of facilitators and barriers to local population wellness; Knowledge of broader community social and health services, and demonstrated experience working collaboratively in multi-disciplinary health care settings; Project Management training or equivalent experience; Advanced knowledge of Ambulance Communications Center operations, particularly Medical Priority Dispatch Protocol (MPDS) and Emergency Communications Nurse System (ECNS); EMDQ certification from the National/International Academies of Dispatch OR equivalency preferred; Paramedic experience, particularly Advanced Care Paramedic, is preferred. French Language is preferred.
