IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR APPLICANTS - PLEASE READ: There are multiple part-time and full-time positions available · Applications are being accepted from November 9, 2020 until November 23, 2020. · Applicants will be required to complete CASPer Test. The test will be administered December 1, 2020 and December 8, 2020 at 5:00 PM EST. further details regarding this test will be emailed to all applicants after November 23. · Applicants who advance beyond the CASPer test will proceed to complete a written exam. The exam will be administered early January 2021; specific dates will be communicated to the selected candidates. · Availability for Ottawa Paramedic Physical Abilities Test is limited. Please ensure to book your test early as it is a requirement of the hiring process. · Two in-takes are planned; one for early March 2021 and the second for early May 2021. Applicants who are current medics or are EMCA (Emergency Medical Care Assistants) / AEMCA (Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistants) certified will be considered for the first in-take while applicants who will be graduating Spring 2021 will be considered for the second in-take. · As part of the selection process, applicants will also be required to complete scenario-based testing and an interview.
