Job Description

Are you an experienced Primary Care, Advanced Care or Critical Care Paramedic with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills? At the District of Nipissing Social Services Administration Board (DNSSAB) we are looking for a talented Paramedic Services Chief to add to our exceptional Emergency Medical Services team. This permanent Paramedic Services Chief position is physically located in North Bay and currently provides a combination of remote and in-office work. This position is required to participate in the on-call rotation to respond to significant operational events. The Paramedic Services Chief provides overall direction, leadership and planning for Paramedic Services within the District of Nipissing DSSAB catchment area. Qualifications

Post-secondary degree in Humanities, Health Sciences or equivalent; Registered in good standing Advanced Emergency Medical Care Assistant (AEMCA); Minimum seven (7) years of management experience, as well as significant experience working as a Primary Care, Advanced Care or Critical Care Paramedic; Computer literacy utilizing MS Office software applications is required; Fluently bilingual in both French and English is considered an asset; Flexibility of hours and location of work may be required; Valid Ontario Driver’s license and a reliable and insured vehicle for use on the job. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Check within three (3) months is a requirement.
