The District of Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board is searching for a Commander of Paramedic Services to join our team based in Sault Ste. Marie. The Commander of Paramedic Services is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective day-to-day operations of the District of Sault Ste. Marie Paramedic Services (DSSMPS) within the legislated standards for land ambulance operation. The Commander of Paramedic Services will ensure delivery of quality emergency pre-hospital care and non-emergency medical transportation, and they will also respond to ambulance calls providing patient care as required.
