TO ALL MEMBERS – CAMH/CIPSRT Study re: Public Safety Personnel crisis line support

15 Dec TO ALL MEMBERS – CAMH/CIPSRT Study re: Public Safety Personnel crisis line support

Hi everyone, please see below message from CAMH regarding a survey they are running in collaboration with CIPSRT to assess first responder wants and needs when it comes to crisis line support.  We encourage you to share with your paramedic teams also.

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

Have you ever contacted a crisis line? If not, what stopped you?

We’re sharing a national survey on behalf of the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) to understand what public safety personnel or first responders want and need from a crisis line. Crisis line services are changing in Canada and this research study will ensure that your views are heard.

The survey asks you what might help you feel comfortable reaching out to a crisis line – and about any barriers that might prevent you from reaching out.

The anonymous survey takes just 15 minutes to complete. Anything you share will be kept completely confidential and will help shape crisis line services in Canada – including the new 988 service.
