We currently have five (5) openings for temporary part-time Primary Care Paramedic in Parry Sound reporting to the Manager of Emergency Medical Services. The hours of work are all shifts, including weekends, and being on standby as required.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements • Requirements and qualifications as prescribed in the Ontario Ambulance Act; • Extra skills certification obtained through Base Hospital; • A demonstrated ability to perform the duties of a Primary Care Paramedic including the lifting of excessive weight; • A demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education and upgrading of skills; • Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references; • Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs; • Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of the West Parry Sound Health Centre: Compassion, Accountability, Rights and Responsibilities, Excellence, and Safety.
