The Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) has developed a draft policy to support legislation passed by the Ontario government on May 17, 2017 as part of its 2017 Budget that allows compensation for work-related chronic mental stress. The Public Services Health and Safety Association (PSHSA) is seeking your input to ensure we provide a provide a collective response to the WSIB that best reflects the specific issues and concerns of each of the sectors we represent. PSHSA is also conducting focus group discussions via webinar about the new Chronic Mental Stress WSIB Policy. The webinars will delve into the details of the new policy and provide participants with an opportunity to provide their feedback for inclusion in PSHSA’s stakeholder response to the consultation.
