Good afternoon,

On behalf of Medavie Health Services, we are very pleased to announce that Lyndsey Longeway has accepted the position as our new Paramedic Chief and General Manager for Elgin EMS.

Lyndsey assumed the role of Interim Paramedic Chief and General Manager at Elgin EMS in April 2024. Since joining Elgin EMS, Lyndsey has been instrumental in providing innovative and collaborative leadership within our team.

Previously, Lyndsey was the Operations Manager for our Ontario Mobile Integrated Health and Community Paramedicine portfolio, where she was instrumental in evolving and growing our programming. Prior to this, Lyndsey was the Education Manager for the London Health Science Centre and Acting Director and Operations Control Manager for Ornge Transport Medicine.

With close to 20 years in leadership roles, Lyndsey holds diplomas in Human Resources Management from McMaster University and Health Sciences from Niagara College; she is also a certified Primary Care Paramedic. Lyndsay currently sits on the Ministry of Health Service Review Team, ensuring organizational compliance and legislative standards.

Lyndsey’s proven leadership style and innovation will be an asset to our team and community. I am confident her strategic guidance will continue to help us achieve our mission of improving the wellbeing of Canadians.

Please join me in congratulating Lyndsey on her new role.

Thank you,

Mike
