29 May TO ALL MEMBERS – Appointment of Perth County Paramedic Services Chief/General Manager
Today, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Adair as General Manager for Chief/Perth County Paramedic Services.
Mike brings almost two decades of paramedic and EMS experience to our team, including his most recent role as Deputy Chief and Alternate City Emergency Manager for Waterloo Fire Rescue. Prior to that, his career has seen him take on a range of leadership positions across southern Ontario, such as Deputy Chief Professional Standards at the Region of Waterloo Paramedic Service, Operations Manager, Logistics/Operations and Quality Assurance, Regulation & Education Portfolios at Chatham-Kent EMS, Platoon and Investigations Manager for Hamilton EMS, Superintendent/Supervisor for York Region Paramedic Services, and paramedic and Field Training Officer at Toronto Paramedic Services.
Mike’s accomplished career has been grounded in an equally impressive educational background. Among the post-secondary degrees and certificates he has earned are a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Trent University, a certificate in Emergency Health Services Management from Dalhousie University and a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership Healthcare from Royal Roads University.
In joining us, Mike will work alongside Chris Keyser and Michael Crawley, Deputy Chiefs and the staff to continue to deliver high quality care to the people of Perth County.
I want to extend a large thank you to Mac Gilpin and Donald MacLellan for their leadership and support. They have been a huge part of our success over the last year and we appreciate all their hard work and dedication.
I want to thank everyone for their ongoing commitment to both our organization and our community during this transitional period. I hope you’ll join me in congratulating Mike on his appointment and welcoming him to Perth County Paramedic Services.
