The OAPC has an opening for a contract, part-time administrative assistant for 12-hours per week. The successful candidate will work from home and report to the Executive Director. Key responsibilities of the position are: Support Board of Directors and Executive with administrative assistance Coordinate activities between President and Executive Director Prepare Board meeting agendas in conjunction with Board with Secretary and Executive Director Prepare and disseminate Board Meeting Packages Coordinate WebEx participation in Board Meetings Maintain Board Meeting minutes Post Meeting Minutes to Webpage Tracking Board Resolutions Gather and prepare necessary information, materials and resources for meetings and events Scheduling Maintaining contact with staff of Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as necessary Making travel arrangements as required Proofreading and formatting presentations and correspondence for signature Monitor all emails sent to firstname.lastname@example.org and respond or bring to the attention of the appropriate person Navigate the backend of the website (WordPress) and make postings and/announcements for members and updating user profiles as required Edit website content and photos Participate on teleconferences when needed Manage registration desks at Conferences and AGMs and Spring Meetings Social Media posts as required Attendance at two to four face-to-face meetings a year The successful candidate must be available to be on-site during then Annual Conferences and AGM and Spring Education Symposium and for meetings in Toronto as required.
