Job Listing | Primary or Advanced Care Paramedic

Reporting to an EMS District Chief, you will perform primary or advanced emergency medical care and controlled acts under the direction of the Base Hospital Medical Director; ensure the safe and timely land transportation of ill or injured persons, including cross-border transfers; operate emergency vehicles safely in all weather conditions; maintain contact with and comply with direction from the Central Ambulance Communications Centre; liaise with other agencies to collect and provide relevant information; maintain ambulances, equipment, supplies, controlled drugs and stations in a state of readiness; complete required documentation; participate in mandatory training; function in a First Response capacity when and if required.
