The Return to Work Coordinator is responsible for implementing and coordinating return to work and accommodation plans for Paramedics Services, in partnership with the corporate disability management team for employees returning to work from occupational and non-occupational illness and injury. This individual will work closely with the corporate disability management team in establishing return to work plans for employees, including supporting graduated plans and work-hardening strategies. Maintains, tracks, collects, and monitors program data and records. This role ensures the Division is compliant with corporate disability management program, collective agreements, and legislative requirements, including collective agreements and the Ambulance Act and associated standards related to professional practice and certification requirements for paramedics returning to full duties after extended leaves.
