Job Listing | Senior Field Manager

We are seeking a leader who helps keep Ontario's emergency health system aligned and responsive by guiding the coordination between land and air ambulance providers, healthcare partners, municipal partners, and First Nation communities. In this role, the Senior Field Manager supports the day-to-day operations of a 24/7 environment, works closely with teams in emergency communications centres, and responds to issues across a large and diverse region. This is an opportunity to lead people, strengthen partnerships, and contribute to decisions that help residents access timely emergency care. Working within a complex regional network, the Senior Field Manager oversees Central Ambulance Communications Centre operations, supports alignment across municipal and First Nations ambulance systems, and interprets ministry policy and legislative standards. This leadership ensures decisions are consistent, evidence-informed, and responsive to community needs, while helping partners navigate pressures, competing priorities, and sensitive or high-impact issues. The role also supports the long-term resilience and readiness of Ontario's emergency health system. The Senior Field Manager contributes to planning related to staffing, budgets, technology, and regional preparedness; oversees funding allocations for transfer payment agencies; and participates in committees that strengthen coordination across jurisdictions.
