Job Listing | Part-Time Shift Superintendent

Business or vocational knowledge acquired through Community College or University Education in Health Sciences or related field; • Knowledge of legislation including the Ambulance Act, Highway Traffic Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, Ministry of Health policies, procedures, guidelines and specifications related to Ambulance dispatch, Base Hospitals, equipment and supplies; • Certified as EMCA or AEMCA; • Valid Ontario Class “F” Driver’s License or equivalent; • Defibrillation & System Relief Certification; • Computer Skills in Microsoft Office Suites and other Computer software programs; • Significant experience in the provincial ambulance system, gained by working as a Primary Care Paramedic or Advanced Care Paramedic; • Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, guiding to inspire and motivate employees; • Interest, aptitude and demonstrated ability in specialized EMS project work such as: logistical and equipment research; protocol development and training initiatives; community programs and education
