Grey County Paramedic Services is a Primary Care Service that serves a population base of more than 90,000 and responds to over 23,000 calls for the service annually. The service operates 15 vehicles from eight stations across the county. Paramedics responding to these positions must be certified, including Advanced Life Support Patient Care certification, and able to provide emergency medical care and transportation for ill or injured persons, to, from and between facilities. Paramedics are required to collaborate with medical staff and allied emergency care providers, to facilitate timely treatment and support the client’s family and friends during the time of emergency care.
