In May of this year, Prescott and Russell Paramedic Service entered into a pilot project with Trillium Gift of Life Network (TGLN) to help them identify potential donors. The pilot is simple and very effective. Region of Durham Paramedic Services has become the first paramedic service in Ontario to receive Accreditation with Exemplary Standing under Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum program! The Paramedic Service went through the accreditation process as part of the Health Department in Durham.  As a result of the review, Region of Durham Paramedic Services has obtained its Accreditation with Exemplary Standing until October 2021 under Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum program.
